MS200 is a single component sealant with no sagging, which cures by reaction with moisture and turn into an elastomer step by step. Its skin formation and curing speed are dependent on the ambient temperature and humidity, Lower temperature and less moisture will retard curing speed, the time of finish curing is also relate to the thick of the sealant.
Characteristics:
Environment-friendly and safe, with none of Solvent, PVC and Isocyanate.
Can be painted after its surface finish curing.
Excellent elastic, hardly any shrinkage, good toughness and impact and vibration resistance.
With excellent aging characteristics, more than 20years service life.
Application:
MS200 is a sealant with medium or little higher module, which has excellent bonding strength on a lot kind of materials such as steel plate, aluminum, polyester, PVC, ABS, ceramic and wood materials, etc. It is suitable for jointing the seam of this materials.
Typical application:
Jointing the seams of the body of the vehicles and all kinds of boxes.
Jointing the seams of integrated building and equipment warehouse rooms.
Jointing the seams of ventilation ducts and the seams of steel construction.
Using indication:
Before applying, the substrates must be clean, dry and free of oil and grease.
It is not suit for direct sealing on the materials with oil bleed-out, it is needed to apply primer before jointing sealant in such situation.
For the materials with rust on the surface (such as aluminum, brass, iron etc.), to burnish the surface is need prior to joint sealants for obtaining optimum adhesion.
When need to be painted, surface need to finish curing before painting, and baking temperature is not suitable to exceed 90℃, no exceeding 150℃ for more than 20min.
The viscosity of sealant will climb up in colder weather, to warm it and keep in +15——40℃, this can help you to get fluency extrusion in this condition.
